ReefMind’s Dosing Intelligence has been rebuilt to turn complex tank data into clear, practical guidance. You’ll see what’s happening, why it matters, what to do next, what not to change, and exactly what to watch.
New reefers get a simple path forward, while experienced reefers can still dig into schedules, trends, dosing amounts, sources, and tank response.
We also fixed a bug that could incorrectly flag fully configured dosing heads as incomplete.

One tank, one dosing picture
Dosing Intelligence brings the associated dosers and pump heads for the selected tank into one view. It keeps each substance, configured schedule, known amount, source, recent trend, and tank response together, so Captain Chris can explain the regimen instead of making you piece it together head by head.
The tank boundary matters. A pump associated with another reef is not borrowed into the analysis, and the technical source list remains available when you want to inspect where each part came from.
It runs when the owner opens the tank
There is no Generate button. For a signed-in owner, Dosing Intelligence runs automatically at most once for each owner and tank on each browser-local day. If a refresh fails, the last successful result and its timestamp stay visible rather than disappearing.
Admin and support impersonation is read-only. It can display the result already stored for the owner, but it does not trigger a new analysis or spend AI capacity.
Configured is not the same as delivered
A configured pump schedule describes the plan. It is not proof that a dose happened. ReefMind labels recorded pump delivery separately when a connected source actually provides it. If no delivery record exists, Dosing Intelligence says that plainly instead of turning a schedule into history.
The analysis is read-only. ReefMind does not schedule, change, or command a dose. It reads the selected tank’s available dosing evidence and helps you decide what to review yourself.
A useful answer before the plumbing
When the beginner lesson is available, Captain Chris starts with the supplements in your regimen, what they are expected to affect in the water and corals, the few actions worth considering now, and what to watch over the next week. More experienced reefers can open the technical detail for the complete head and source list.
The point is simple: understand the tank’s response before changing the routine.
