Please review these terms before using ReefMind. They describe the rules for the website, applications, monitoring services, Captain Chris, Learn resources, and related features provided by ReefMind, LLC.
1. Provider and acceptance
ReefMind, LLC (“ReefMind,” “we,” “us”) provides the ReefMind services. By accessing or using them, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
2. Aquarium information is educational
ReefMind provides monitoring, organization, alerts, educational aquarium information, and AI-assisted information. ReefMind and Captain Chris do not replace your judgment, manufacturer instructions, qualified aquarium professionals, electricians, veterinarians, or other appropriate experts.
Always use human confirmation before acting on dosing, chemical, livestock, electrical, plumbing, or equipment information. Verify readings with appropriate tests, check units and tank volume, review product labels and equipment manuals, and make changes gradually. Do not rely on a single sensor, alert, recommendation, or AI response where an error could harm livestock, equipment, property, or people.
3. Third-party links, content, and affiliation
Learn and other ReefMind surfaces may link to third-party websites, videos, creators, publishers, products, or services. ReefMind independently curates links for convenience and education. Linked creators and publishers do not necessarily sponsor, endorse, or affiliate with ReefMind, and a link does not mean ReefMind endorses every statement, product, or practice at the destination.
Third-party content belongs to its respective owners and remains subject to their terms and policies. ReefMind does not control third-party availability, accuracy, safety, or changes. You access third-party resources at your own discretion.
4. Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for accurate account information, reasonable account security, activity under your account, and lawful use. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, misuse another person’s data, or use ReefMind to violate law or third-party rights.
5. Ownership and feedback
ReefMind and its licensors retain their rights in the service, software, branding, and original materials. These Terms do not transfer ownership of third-party content. If you send feedback, you allow ReefMind to use it to improve the service without an obligation to compensate you, while you retain ownership of your original content.
6. Corrections and intellectual-property reports
To report a broken or inaccurate link, request a correction, or raise a copyright, trademark, attribution, or other intellectual-property concern, email support@reefmind.ai. Include the affected URL, the issue, your contact information, and supporting details. ReefMind may restrict or remove material while reviewing a report.
If you own or represent content shown or linked by ReefMind and want us to remove that content or link, email support@reefmind.ai with the affected URL. We will remove it immediately.
7. Service changes and availability
Features, integrations, and availability may change. ReefMind may suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, misuse prevention, or service protection. No monitoring or notification system is guaranteed to be uninterrupted, immediate, or error-free; maintain appropriate independent safeguards for your aquarium.
8. No warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ReefMind is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
9. Reasonable limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ReefMind, LLC and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, livestock, equipment use, or business opportunities arising from the service. ReefMind’s aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid ReefMind for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law. They do not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and they do not override mandatory consumer protections.
10. Governing company, applicable law, and changes
ReefMind, LLC is the company providing and administering these Terms. These Terms are subject to applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections and other rights that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.
We may update these Terms as ReefMind changes. Material updates will be identified by a revised date and may also be communicated through the service or email. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.
