ReefMind.ai product update

HYDROS owners: get your data flowing again in 2 minutes

HYDROS has launched an official API, and ReefMind.ai is moving every HYDROS tank onto it. CoralVue is retiring the old connection method, so your HYDROS data will stop updating in ReefMind.ai until you switch. Your history stays exactly where it is.

First, update your HYDROS app to the latest version. Older versions don’t have the Device Keys screen.

  1. In the HYDROS app, open the top-right menu → Device Properties, scroll to Manage Device Keys, then tap the blue +.
  2. Choose ReefMind.ai as the Provider, give it any name (for example “ReefMind - Display Tank”), set Permissions to Read only, then tap Issue.
  3. Tap the copy icon beside the ReefMind.ai / Read only key.
  4. In ReefMind.ai, open Settings, go to your HYDROS connection, and paste the key where it asks for your Device Key.

ReefMind.ai handles the rest in the background, and your dashboard keeps showing your readings.

More than one HYDROS tank? Each collective needs its own key. Repeat steps 1–4 for each collective and paste each key into the matching tank’s HYDROS connection. (Several controllers in the same collective share one key.)

The key is read-only: ReefMind.ai can see your readings but can’t control your equipment. You can revoke it anytime from the same HYDROS screen.
