The new Settings and customizable dashboard widgets are live

Two changes are live in ReefMind today. Settings has been reorganized so it is easier to find what you came for, and your dashboard is now yours to arrange.

Settings used to be one long page you had to scroll and hunt through. It is now a set of focused panels you open one at a time, so you can go straight to the thing you want to change and get back to your tank.

Your tanks are grouped together, with each tank profile holding its own name, volume, type, and thresholds. Controller connections — Neptune Apex, Hydros, Aquarino, and GHL ProfiLux — live under the tank they belong to, so it is clear which controller feeds which tank. Dosing equipment has its own place: dosers you have connected, the Dosing Map for your DOS and pump outlets, and which pumps Captain Chris should analyze. Notifications, including push, are together in one section instead of scattered. And the Captain Chris Tank Profile — the tank details he uses when he advises you — is now its own clearly labeled area rather than something you stumble across.

On the dashboard, look for the Rearrange button. Turn it on and you can drag your cards into the order you actually want, and each card’s menu lets you set its width: Compact, Standard, or Full width. Put your parameters up top and your camera where you like it, make the cards you glance at often narrower so more fits on one screen, and choose Done when you are finished. Your layout is saved to your account, so it follows you to your phone and your desktop.

Nothing was reset. Your tank information, your controller connections, your dosing setup, your thresholds, and your preferences are all exactly where you left them. This changed how ReefMind is laid out, not what it knows about your tank.

One housekeeping note: if you already had ReefMind open in a browser tab or on your phone while this went out, refresh the page once. That loads the new version. You only have to do it the one time.

Thank you to our Beta group. You clicked through the rough versions of both of these, told me plainly what was confusing, and found the problems before anyone else had to. The layout that shipped today is different, and better, because of your feedback.

If something looks wrong, is missing, or does not behave the way it did yesterday, please tell me. Post it in our Discord and include what you were doing, what tank you were on, and whether you were on a phone or a computer. That is enough for me to reproduce it, and it is the fastest way to get it fixed.
